Most facilitators feel unprepared — not because they lack passion, but because they lack real training.
Most programmes teach techniques without giving you the depth, supervision, practice, and real-world skill needed to guide others safely. You end up with theory, but no grounded confidence, no practical readiness, and no professional framework.
This certification solves that problem by giving you a complete training in somatic facilitation, trauma-informed skill, nervous-system literacy, group leadership, and ethical practice — plus the business training to build a life doing what you love.
What is the Science of Self Facilitator Certification Training?
A six-month, 300-hour professional training in trauma-informed psychotherapy and somatic facilitation that prepares you to lead one-to-one sessions, groups, and retreats with clarity, skill, and ethical grounding.
You will learn to work with the nervous system, emotional process, behavioural patterns, relational dynamics, and group psychology — all within a clear scope.

Begin with immersive inner work. Build self-awareness, understand your relational and autonomic patterns, and establish the embodied presence required for safe facilitation.
This phase strengthens your internal foundation so you can guide others with clarity and steadiness.
Phase 2 — Clinical Practice (One-to-One)
Develop therapeutic skill for individual sessions — somatic tracking, nervous system regulation, compassionate curiosity, boundary-setting, trauma-aware ethics, and informed consent.
This phase refines your clinical and interpersonal skillset for real-world practice.
Phase 3 — Group Facilitation & Retreat Leadership
Learn to create safety and cohesion in group settings. Practise rupture/repair, containment, group dynamics, and safe embodiment work.
Includes retreat design frameworks, online group facilitation, and a professional module on building offers, sales structures, and ethical business foundations.
Why This Training Works
Most people try to become skilled facilitators without ever receiving the structure, supervision, and guided practice needed to feel genuinely ready.
This training gives you a clear path, consistent support, real-world practice, and a professional framework that removes guesswork.
You gain the depth of a psychotherapy-informed approach, the practicality of somatic and nervous-system skill, and the accountability of live supervision and weekly integration.
By the end of the six months you’ll have the skill to lead one-to-one sessions, the readiness to guide groups and retreats, the confidence to work at emotional and somatic depth, and the professional grounding to build a practice around it.
This is what makes people not just trained — but ready.
